HEY COUNTY ASSESSOR — THIS ONE’S FOR YOU. Let’s call this what it is. I’m being taxed on money I never made. Think about that. I bought my property in 2012 for $60,000. Now the county claims it’s worth $306,000. Did I sell it? No. Did I realize a profit? No. Did I receive a $306,000 check? Not even close. But my tax bill? That went up like I did. That’s the problem. This isn’t income. This isn’t cash. This is a number someone wrote down on paper — and now I’m expected to pay real money because of it. If my stock portfolio doubles, I don’t owe taxes until I sell. If my paycheck doesn’t increase, I don’t suddenly owe more income tax. So why is housing treated differently? Why am I being taxed on unrealized gains? A home isn’t just an asset on a spreadsheet — it’s where people live. And under this system, you can do everything “right,” pay off your house, and still get squeezed harder every year based on a theoretical value you never turned into cash. That’s not ownership. That’s renting from the government with extra steps. And spare me the talking points about “services” and “inflation.” This is about being billed for value you never received. People are waking up to it.

Over 80% of Americans support voter ID. 95% of Republicans. 71% of Democrats. The AMERICAN people. This is a no-brainer. The Senate needs to pass the SAVE America Act and get it to the President's desk before midterms. The integrity of our democracy depends on it.

People ask me why I'm so fond of goats. Here's why. A goat will wander up the side of a Welsh cliff that a sheep wouldn't attempt and a hiker wouldn't survive, eat the brambles and gorse and thistles that nothing else on the farm can stomach, and turn the lot into milk so digestible that even the people allergic to cow's dairy can drink it without incident. She thrives on land that grows nothing else. She fertilises it as she goes. She maintains scrubland that would otherwise become a fire hazard. She produces milk with smaller fat globules and a different protein structure to cow's milk, which is why human infants have been raised on it for ten thousand years when nothing else was on offer. Her cheese is the oldest cheese on earth. Her meat fed the Mediterranean before olive oil was a brand. Her hide bound the first books. Her hair made the tents that crossed the Sahara. Her milk built the Maasai and the Berbers and the goatherds of every uplands the planet has. And the modern response to all of this has been to tell us she is somehow the wrong animal. The cheek of it. I'll back the creature that has fed humans on every continent except Antarctica over an almond drink invented by a man with a blender in 1998.

It is now antisemitic to support Thomas Massie, just as it was racist to oppose BLM. It is unpatriotic to oppose war with Iran, just as it was fascist to buy a Tesla. It is disloyal to demand Epstein’s clients be prosecuted, just as it was disinformation to state Hunter’s laptop was real. It is a fireable offense to criticize the President, just as criticizing Biden justified being booted off of Facebook. Elon himself is afraid to honor his pledge to donate to Massie, as the last time he dared defy the President, SpaceX was threatened. He was also shunned by the Biden White House in favor of the existing automotive giants who funded Democratic campaigns. Nothing has changed. The uniparty rules. Freedoms are slowly eroding. A Democratic run administration will gut what’s left in the name of preventing “disinformation.” The Republican administration continues to callously disregard any Constitutional limitations on power demanding absolute loyalty no matter the path. All clap for their Party while both sides trample the Constitution. Massie is the Constitution’s last stand, our own battle of Thermopylae in the heart of Kentucky. In 1776 we did a little a thing over taxation (of about 1.5%) without representation. Right now we have a Senate that refuses to follow the will of 80% of the population and our tax burden is astronomical. Taxation without representation. PASS THE SAVE AMERICA ACT @LeaderJohnThune @SenateGOP
