After a very hard few months, this is how I treat myself to a little break, a few hours of my favourite music whilst the sun sets. That’s a real treat. Grateful for my recovery for making this possible.

I am SO glad im sober.. more than ever before. It’s been THE hardest most emotional exhausting time & ive been needed 100% 24/7. It’s only bc I’m sober ive been able to be there Drink/drugs don’t get me through hard days but my recovery does. Very grateful.

@recs2k21 I used to think I was cool, brag over look how long I can go for, looked down on those who stopped the same day Always remember the day I tried to ‘have a break’ & realised I was addicted & my thinking totally shifted Soo glad it’s all a thing of the past

When the drugs ran out I’d always want more. Everyone else would go home & call it a night. I’d call a dealer I just thought I was a party animal until I tried to stop taking cocaine & couldn’t But 5 years & 2 months on, I’ve beaten addiction & changed my life #RecoveryPosse

@FindingAlya Well I spent my Sunday morning protecting a baby magpie who landed in my back garden while learning to fly. Fed it, watered it and then built a step from ground to wall to tree where the nest is, after that it kept coming back down I was afraid the neighbors cats would be out 🤦🏻

Been going through an emotionally exhausting time for 5 months straight. It’s been non stop issues. Sharing this purely to show we can get through hard times sober & recovery does get easier. Using wouldn’t make anything better.
