Great question. So what may happen is you have very big monopoly sized data centers that do some bitcoin on the side because they have massive capex to utilize and probably long term energy contracts. Basically, the whole "defi" concept is thrown out the window and there is a JPM sized miner everyone is dealing with behind the scenes. Now what if that miner is subsidized by the CCP? How then does this look?

Concur with @michaeljburry . Our BTC price target is 0.0. That's not just for shock factor. It's where the math takes us. It's not worked as a dollar hedge, rather it's just a speculative instrument correlated to the Nasdaq. It's not gaining any traction as medium of exchange. No serious central bank will ever own something where Michael Saylor controls the float. The miners (who are the network) are bleeding cash. We went over what it actually costs and got higher profits that way. People keep paying because there are no alternatives. We're rolling in money.

That means making the sector more competitive by ending the electric vehicle mandate, harmonizing regulations with key trading partners and scrapping federal fees that do nothing but add thousands to the cost of making vehicles and chase away investments. Instead of importing made-in-China vehicles, the federal government needs to be focused on working with Ontario to bring investment and jobs to factory floors in Brampton, Oshawa, Ingersoll and across the province, where assembly lines are at risk or have already left the country. You should build it like git, with branches of thought that can be merged into what’s considered truth. You can then also use it to structure experiments for learning and progress. Also an amazing way to make sure governments can not use non-science and proven failing systems against their civilians. Centralized proven truth with a mechanism to systemically find unproven new truths would be amazing.

@wyrdsmyth @Cromwelp Because the drama is intentional. They claim that they hate scalpers, but they created the scarcity in the first place. They get to look like the good guys (because there's no way they could get away with selling the game for thousands), and use this to generate engagement.

@Cromwelp If the publisher wanted to screw the scalpers they'd use the proceeds from the last run to push out an even larger run. Flood the market, as it were. Somehow I doubt that will happen but one can always dream.
