Fauci is pleading the fifth for a couple of reasons, 1 because he’s terrified of losing his celebrity status and favorable view among the left, and 2, because he knows that it’s quite likely his pardon is soon to be nullified. Have the best day ever.

I disagree, he owes the American people answers. And if he did nothing wrong, if there is a reasonable explanation for his decisions, then those answers shouldn't implicate him. If there are certain gotcha questions, sure, plead the 5th. But pleading the 5th on every question, looks really bad!

Can we please do away with the preemptive pardon? What kind of nonsense is it that one man or woman can unilaterally protect a potential criminal from justice, before there is ever an indictment, before any evidence is presented, and before a jury can have their say. Hard to think there can ever be a preemptive pardon that isn't a gross abuse of power to protect one's friends and allies.
