Sure, but paired with Uncut Gems (2019), it's one of the best portrayals of the Jewish century on film and one made by an outsider. The only question is which movie to add to make the trifecta

Oppenheimer was really overhyped. The reason this movie became so popular is simply because people had serious superhero fatigue and were craving a proper theater cinema experience again after COVID. This film is a giant piece of “rushing things”. There’s this quickness in this film that excludes viewer from stop and think and create a bond with any of the characters. John Carpenter put it best: “Oppenheimer was OK. It was alright. Everyone's praising it as the movie of the century—I don't know about that.”
