I know everyone hates CA, but sorry…nobody cares about fires anywhere but R5. It is what it is. Bobby Garcia and Brian Fennessey are the two top candidates for leadership and they’re already based in South Ops. This is a no-brainer. HQ in LA, run by Garcia and Vargas as DC.

They already do this. They automatically dispatch *multiple* aircraft in a 1st alarm brush response, and in a mutual aid zone, you get multiple 1st alarms from 2-3 agencies. Y’all have unrealistic expectations of firefighters. They can’t just teleport copters to the fires. They go as quickly and safely as they can. It’s not a movie.

🔥 Not sure why I’m the one who has to say this but I seriously think that whenever a fire is detected in a high risk fire zone (dead brush and/or wind), IMMEDIATELY conduct a shock & awe campaign with fire planes & helicopters BEFORE it burns out of control. No fire too small!
