🚨UPDATE🚨 Police have provided me with the surveillance footage of a suspicious person, they describe as a “middle eastern man in his late 20’s or early 30’s,” who chased after me and entered into my apartment complex. The property manager claims this man is not a resident. I’m currently going through all the footage that’s been turned over and will be releasing this report shortly.

The Center Point Volunteer Fire Department (CPVFD) in Kerr County, Texas, a 501(c)(3) organization, was aiding victims of the Texas Hill Country’s devastating floods through search, rescue, and recovery efforts when their fire station was largely destroyed by floodwater. While CPVFD sought donations to continue their disaster relief work, scammers exploited the tragedy by impersonating the organization on payment platforms, tricking donors into sending money to them instead of CPVFD. Paxton’s investigation aims to halt the fraud and hold the perpetrators accountable.
