Sounds like “security,” until you remember: millions of eligible Americans don’t have these documents on hand. Women with name changes. Seniors born at home. Rural voters without easy access to vital records. There’s no evidence of widespread non-citizen voting. But there’s plenty of evidence that these laws block real people. This isn’t protection. It’s precision-crafted exclusion.

75% of Pennsylvanians don't have a Real ID, and 50% don't have a passport. If the SAVE America Act passes, they wouldn't be able to vote THIS November. Any member of Congress from Pennsylvania who votes yes is voting against the interests of their constituents.

@TeamKClark There’s proof on your marriage license and children’s birth certificates of the wife’s maiden name. So if u had certificate and DL, it explains the difference. All 3 of my kids need a photo grade verification and birth certificate to wrestle in certain tournaments. NBD.

Just so we’re clear: Republicans are celebrating blocking millions of women from voting if their married name doesn’t match the name on their birth certificate.
