@cartiercultured Lol I would hardly call being forced to join the military fine, but I'm proud of you for overcoming all of that. Hope you are able to get some breathing room to separate out your own passions and desires from your parents. Can be hard to overcome unusually over bearing control.

@_Fuzzgun @suchnerve I have always been terrible at electrical engineering 😅 I was pressured into taking classes at community college bc my parent didn't want me doing smth like biology, and I ended up so depressed there that I ended up intentionally flunking out. My parent almost killed me lmao

I have successfully modded the Xbox version of ESPN NFL 2K5. To my knowledge, this has never been done before! Only the PS2 version, which is inferior graphically, has been modded with an emulator level texture swap. This changes everything...

@KeyNyata PS2 was the last truly plug and play gen. 360 gen didn't have required day 1 updates, but it headed in that direction. By PS4, games required massive day 1 downloads. By that point consoles were just worse PCs. This disc stuff is the very final nail in the coffin.

An analyst told IGN: “With around 50 million PlayStation Plus subscribers, even if 500,000 canceled in protest, that’s just 1% of the business, unlikely to make Sony rethink. Digital is simply too lucrative.”
