#Chiefs WR Rashee Rice violated his probation after testing positive for marijuana (THC) and has been ordered to serve 30 days in jail. He was booked this afternoon in Dallas County, Texas, and will be released from custody on June 16. That timeline means he’ll miss OTAs and minicamp. @MattFosterTV first reported the news.

POV: you go down the Kars4Kids rabbit hole and end up watching a video of orthodox Jews chasing the official mascot of the organization, Fiveish the 5 dollar bill, through the streets of Israel because they assumed it was an antisemitic prank.

@realtrezzy24 @Ball_InMyHand Yeah that goes a long way. You need that little bit of crazy. I'm not full on against him, I'm just concerned. Not the slam dunk pick that people have been saying. Hope I'm wrong!

@_Fuzzgun @Ball_InMyHand He seems like he has that. He’s spoken about making himself mad before playing like reminding himself when darryn peterson didn’t pass him the ball at mcdaag and before playing duke. It seems like he has the right makeup to continue improving

Watchin ESPN. They run a typical draft night promo talking about stars of today meets the stars of tomorrow blah blah. But then they highlighted 4 prospects, and in order... Dybantsa(obviously), Peterson(of course), Boozer(surely) and then...Acuff? Over Caleb Wilson?

@realtrezzy24 @Ball_InMyHand Exactly how I see it. But definitely emphasis on the 3 part. Every offense should operate 5-out or 4-out. A PF that can't shoot 3s severely limits your ability to get by with a cost effective Center. My goal is to get a center on the vet minimum or a Brook Lopez type.

@_Fuzzgun @Ball_InMyHand I think right now a 4 in the league is in the mold of an Aaron Gordon or Evan Mobley. Play solid defense, get easy buckets in the dunkers spot, and step out every now and then to hit a 3.

@realtrezzy24 @Ball_InMyHand You make a good point your. And I believe so much of being a great athlete is the mentality. If he truly is a willing learner and psycho competitor, that is more important than anything. I can only speak to what's on the court.

@_Fuzzgun @Ball_InMyHand what’s your top 5 out of curiosity? I think the potential for him to become an elite defender + good scorer is greater than a guy like Acuff becoming an elite scorer + ok defender. He has the body, so his flaws seem fixable. There isnt anything that he’s incapable of doing

@realtrezzy24 @Ball_InMyHand My point is that I think he is in a tier below the top 3. If I'm the Bulls I'm either looking to trade up or trade down if someone else falls in love. He might be the 4th or 5th best prospect, but I would rather take one of the following guards plus a future 1st.

I've never been paid a nickel from Twitter I paid for a checkmark because I don't like being limited on how many characters I can use on a tweet. Don't pretend you know me. So, if I'm gonna pay not to be limited on my characters, might as well put you in your condescending place... Brother this is the funniest genre of football-twitter elitism because the entire app runs on people trying to get attention. That’s literally the website. You think the guy tweeting “Caleb Williams top 3 QB already” at 2:14 AM is doing it for inner peace and spiritual enlightenment? “Paypig” is crazy too because the blue check costs less than stadium nachos and a drink. NFL fans will spend $480 on a stitched alternate jersey, $900 on Sunday Ticket, $14 on a beer called “Third Down IPA,” and then act like eight bucks a month is crossing into Jeff Bezos territory. Also, the “you appeared in my feed because you paid for interaction” line acts like the algorithm personally dragged you into a dark alley against your will. My man, you could’ve scrolled. You saw the tweet, got mad, opened the replies, cooked up a response, typed it out, reread it, hit send, and then probably checked back three separate times to see if people agreed with you. That’s not being oppressed by the algorithm. That’s participation. The whole ecosystem is built on manufactured outrage. We’re all raccoons fighting over shiny garbage in the parking lot of the internet. Nobody here is Walter Cronkite. And the superiority complex over not buying Twitter Blue is incredible. People talk about it like they stormed Normandy because they refused to spend the price of a gas-station taquito. “I stand with the common man.” Brother you are arguing about football online at noon on a Tuesday. What really kills me is the idea that paying for the check automatically invalidates the opinion. If someone tweets “the Bears offensive line improved,” the response becomes: “LOL BLUE CHECK.” Okay? Did the guards suddenly become worse because the profile icon changed color? Did the tweet become false through subscription osmosis? If Einstein bought Twitter Blue tomorrow people would quote tweet relativity with “nice paid interaction bozo.” And let’s not ignore that half the people clowning the blue check would instantly buy one if it guaranteed their tweets got 50,000 likes. They act morally opposed to it until the second the algorithm starts blessing people with dopamine pellets. The “quit crying” part is also elite projection because the angriest people on the app are always the ones claiming THEY don’t care. Nobody who is truly unbothered types “paypig” with anime-villain intensity. That word didn’t casually slip out. That was carefully marinated internet venom. It’s also funny because Twitter Blue users are treated like they invented greed itself while sports gambling apps are out here putting odds boosts directly into halftime shows. The NFL has entire broadcasts sponsored by corporations named stuff like TurboTax Ultra Death Drive brought to you by Mountain Dew Code Red. But sure, the true moral collapse of society is a dude spending $8 to edit tweets. And the irony? The reply itself is engagement bait too. That’s the best part. “You paid for attention” says the guy publicly performing disdain in hopes people clap for him. It’s the Spider-Man pointing meme except both Spider-Men are addicted to notifications.

@realtrezzy24 @Ball_InMyHand It's just hard for me to fall in love with a guy who's main trait is that he has the *potential* to become a defender that he isn't already. Just feels weird that people are calling this a top-4 player draft on his behalf. Hope I'm wrong though.

@_Fuzzgun @Ball_InMyHand he isn’t a good three point shooter but his form looks good enough for him to improve. It’s not just that he’s an athletic guy, it’s that he has a motor as well. He might never be a top tier scorer, but he can be a great switchable defender who runs the floor well

@Ball_InMyHand I've just always had a skepticism of these PF types going over guys who can actually shoot 3s and I'm rarely proven wrong. Always laughed so hard at Bagley and Ayton going over Doncic.

@Ball_InMyHand It's true. But a lot of these traits guys rely so much on physical advantages, lean on it like a crutch. Don't think it's easy for these guys to learn the 3 until they lose their physical edge and have to adapt to survive.

@_Fuzzgun 71% is a good starting point tho you'd have to think. Take Blake Griffin, who's FTA rate was 2nd to none and was 59% from the line in college. Took a couple league years but he got to 35% from 3 on 4-5looks. Idk about you but that would be a great outcome imo

@Bear_Down_Adam Being familiar with them does not mean you know how they work. I'm familiar with cars, I can't build a car from scratch. Learn that an LLM is and isn't. Why does the suggesting of learning get you upset?

@Ball_InMyHand Metagames change due to rule changes. This ruleset has been solved. Only nuances will shuffle around. Until the league changes the rules we are stuck in this meta. Gambling on a rule change at this juncture seems premature. Key and 3. Make the defense cover the whole halfcourt

@Ball_InMyHand I know it's not good to overly rely on past trends, but college FT% is the best indicator of NBA 3P%. So I doubt he's ever going to be exceptional there. I just don't see what his identity will be in the NBA. An athletic guy who does what with his athleticism exactly?

@_Fuzzgun Fortunately I feel confident you should not be scared of any Pwill like realities. His FT shooting was actually pretty encouraging I think. He gets there A LOT and shot 70%, he'll grow. Midrange touch encouraging as well. I think he'll learn to expand his range.
