@HockeyWithDevin The Wings haven't finished 21st overall last season, 18th in 2024, and 24th in 2023. The perpetual rebuild that never quite pans out has little or nothing to do with Holland at this point.

It's arguable that moving to the Eastern Conference is as big a reason for the Red Wings' playoff drought as their overall lack of talent at the end of the Holland era.

@GrindLinePod Seems too arbitrary to evaluate the season just on playoffs vs not. If the finished the season with 94 pts and made the playoffs you’d say it’s a success but if they miss with 100 you’d say it’s a failure? Not sure that makes sense to me.
