And still, as of this report, Robertson has not agreed to extend in Detroit, and I still think Yzerman is squeamish on paying a winger $15m when he needs to pay DeBrincat $11m if he is staying. Though I did rough math on the roster next season, and you could get away with it while also paying a center over 11m. #LGRW #RedWings

@GrindLinePod @Urtoastyy I did. Puckpedia has the Wings with $19.5 million in cap space right now. Robo ($15m) + EP ($11.6m) = $26.6 million That leaves us $7.1m over the cap, then Larkin’s $8.7m out the door only leaves us with $1.6m in cap space.

@GrindLinePod I have a team building question maybe a good topic on the pod. If you do trade for for Robertson. Can you coteend with a less productive center core who plays good defense? Robo Kasper Raymond then can have cat Danielson MBN. Then you have 100 third fourth liners.

@zachmichael22 @HockeytownWpod We had 3 rookies make the roster this season. That's a lot. Chinakov isnt a world beater. Again though, the other teams have to agree to trade them to and there is rarely an appetite to do that.
