@FlaggerVandy Yes and no. It has an issue when it arrived so I don't actually have it yet, but they are ordering a whole new one and at any time I can get a full refund until I actually take the bike. Then it's got a 2 year everything covered warranty and lifetime frame.

I'm picking up a new bike tomorrow (new bike day!) and made a map showing the route I'm taking from the store to work (key in alt). It's a pretty straight route but you can see how dogshit Lansing is compared to our neighbors. Like they don't even try.

I feel like this is going to be the best possible future outcome of Michigan Avenue in the near future. Bike lanes are still too narrow, ramps will need to be added at every intersection, bumpouts will need to be largened- but it barely breaks into "acceptable enough"

Hey any state reps that follow me: this is clown shit. There is no magic trick to "fixing roads" other than reducing the wear on them, either with vehicle restrictions, VMT reduction, or road diets. That's it. That's all that works.
