This mom’s daughter was genuinely disturbed by a song from 1978… She pulled up a music video of “Hot Child in the City” from 1978 and her daughter was immediately horrified.
The poor girl sat there in disbelief while her mom laughed the entire time. Between the lyrics and the overall vibe, she was genuinely creeped out and ready to shut it off.
It’s crazy how songs people used to just sing along to back in the day sounds so off now. We really weren’t paying attention to half the stuff we were listening to.
Have you ever shown your kids an old song and watched them have a full meltdown over the lyrics?

This man, Nicholas Jordan Wagter, was declared “certified” without so much as a psychiatric evaluation and forceably detained for having dissenting views of the government.
In the Soviet Union, they invented “sluggish schizophrenia” to lock up political dissidents in psychiatric hospitals for years. China does the same today with Falun Gong practitioners, Uyghurs, and anyone questioning the CCP. Cuba still uses psychiatric wards as political prisons.

Just watched this documentary. Here’s my opinion. One of three things happened in that car.
1. She had a medical episode and blacked out.
2. They got into a fight and she said she was going to crash the car, with no real intentions of doing it, and hit a point of no return, panicked and crashed.
3. They were speeding down the street trying to be cool and lost control.
I don’t think from the time she turned on that street calm and safely did she turn into a murderer in a matter of five seconds. She deserves jail for sure but 15 to life for double murder is absurd. 10 years manslaughter would’ve been a fair sentence. And before you ask, if that was my son, I would absolutely want the person to spend the rest of her life in jail. That’s not how it works

She didn't remember and I believe she doesn't remember and when it all comes back because it took me almost a year and a half to restore my memory when I had a huge accident nobody died obviously but it's very traumatizing I don't remember a lot of it still to this day.

Stop changing clocks = GOOD. Permanent Daylight Saving time = BAD. It was tried in 1974 as an experiment and was so unpopular Congress cancelled the experiment before it was over. So far me?
I live in Colorado and on December 21 the shortest day of the year, under standard time the sunrise time is
0717 am
Under permanent Daylight time that will be:
0817
The farther north you live the later that time gets.
So, if you live in Seattle for example that time would be
Standard time: 0750
Daylight time: 0850
The only thing this will result in is more morning traffic accidents and people getting run over. And kids going to school in the dark.

Schools can make the adjustment that's tired of the school hours better. Farmers always start their work Before Sunrise anyway so that is not a valid argument.
You'd rather sit down in the office or in a school or inside all day where the sun is out and come home when it's dark.
Most of the time it doesn't matter if you change the clock it's still pretty dark in the morning
