Does it matter at all to the “You have to get a true number one goalie” crowd that save for Montreal the past two months none of the final four teams have a true number one goalie?

2nd round pick was the only real asset they gave up, so I’m fine with it. Isak Rosén had 3 goals and 0 assists in 21 games for WPG at 23 years old

At the trade deadline, BUF gave a former 1st rounder (Rosen), Jacob Bryson, a 2nd and a 4th for Logan Stanley and Luke Schenn. Neither one is playing in tonight’s 7th game.

@ZacKrell Its not the habs fans being there, they have money cant do much about that. Its the 3 goals on 3 shots and dobes wasn't chanted at least all first period. Then the 1st half of the 2nd the sabres where running the game and the arena was way too quiet.

If I'm a Sabres player I'd be livid about the state of the Key Bank Center the past 3 home games. We're in round 2 of the playoffs and the lower bowl has been turned over to the Habs fans. Sabres season ticket holders should be embarrassed.

I think I’m so chill about this because I don’t view them as a legit cup contender.
Don’t get me wrong I want them to win because I find all this fun, but it’s more about the core getting experience than treating this as a missed opportunity or something.

Pleased the Habs won.
I just do not have the energy to face a team that I absolutely hate: the Lightning. Their fanbase is rough, uneducated and loud like the Ravens fans. I expect a good series without a majority of the fanbase fighting.
We also won’t get another clutch and grab series which I don’t wanna see but also do not think the Sabres play well in. Here comes a high flying, fast, skilled series amongst 2 teams who will be around for a long time.

Most want to face Tampa & I get it, Montreal is fast AF + that top line is elite. WTS, I want Montreal. For one it would be an amazing series & i’m kind of tired of absolutely hating our opponent. Mainly though, Tampa has been there, they’ve won in the playoffs and play that dirty clutch and grab playoff style to perfection that we do not excel against. Hedman will be back soon & Kucherov is the best player in the Eastern Conference. Vasilevskiy is a Vezina finalist w/ the best save % in the NHL. Id rather play the young inexperienced team than the grizzled vets who have won cups. Just my opinion, either way: GO SABRES! #ByTheSword #SabreHood

Gotta be happy for Mattias Samuelsson to get a loud roar from the crowd when he was announced before games one and two. After dealing with bad-luck injuries earlier in his career, he's emerged as a legit top-pair, shutdown defenseman.
