Ignore this if you are just gonna reply dead game lol But I am curious to discuss with people why yall think Marathon is still losing players. I truly believe it was going to stablize. Is it too hardcore or are players just bored of the gameplay loop? If you have fallen off Marathon I want to hear from you!

Here’s my hot take that I think is important for people to hear: Nobody at Halo Studios hates Halo. Nobody at 343 hated Halo. Saying a company “hates” a game because they try and do new things is a big part of why gaming fandoms are so toxic recently. Be kind 💚

@MarathonDevTeam Having the UESC drop a bit of ammo would help a lot and still fits with the game (they're using guns after all). And maybe more shield / med kits about. I want to get into more fights but I'm very quickly out of resources and have to extract

@OlManMakowski @MarathonTheGame Instead of providing the client with all information of other players / items on the map, the client is only sent information about the local area. Prevents hacks from 'seeing' information that wouldn't be obtainable from the perspective of the player.

I’m gonna say it again, root for games to succeed yes they need to be good and yes you should criticize when it’s valid but we’re reaching a point where if a game isn’t a runaway hit on day one, layoffs are happening, studios are closing and these publishers are only investing into projects that are “safe” The best games of 2025 were mostly independent studios doing something new or unique but sadly that will be the exception as we’re going to see more remakes and sequels moving forward and that’s a damn shame

When did hating on every game become such a common and prominent personality trait? Back when I was a kid everyone would get excited for everything. A new game always meant new fun. Now people pray on every game’s downfall and rush to find everything wrong with it.

@musicismydrug41 @PlayHighguard I have no doubt it's fine for plenty of people and I'm not denying that. Something about my setup / configuration is very blurry when compared to other games. Had other people take a look and they agreed.

@WildlightEnt @PlayHighguard your game is unplayably blurry. I can't find a way to fix it
