Being a candidate in #GE2024, standing up for the people of #HolbornAndStPancras on behalf of the #LiberalDemocrats, has been an immense privilege. Since I was selected, many people have asked “why are you running”. This video is an attempt at an answer to that question – as well as why you should go out and vote on Thursday 4th July. Huge thanks to @VintageTrouble for allowing me to use their song “It’s Not Alright by Me” - rewritten in 2020 in the wake of the George Floyd tragedy in the US - and carrying an important message: Things won’t change unless we stand up and take action. #ClimateChange, #Nationalism, #Brexit, #Racism & #Intolerance, #Inequality, #Corruption – the list goes on.
