Amazing turn out in support of Lib Dem Janet Grauberg this evening, including our MPs Sarah Olney and Victoria Collins!

We have a by election in West Hampstead next Thursday. I hope Janet wins, she is dynamic & does the work of a councillor anyway. She opposed the lack of affordable housing in NW6 ( 1 bed Liddell Rd=£650k)-alongside Tulip Siddiq, also in the “No” camp!

In a week's time, voters in West Hampstead will be going to the polls to elect a new local representative. With a little help from my friends, I've made a little video about why I'm standing as the @CamdenLibDems candidate here....

@RichardOsley I have very fond memories of our time on the Council together. Ernest was simultaneously warm and humorous, and fiercely intelligent.

Sad to hear of the death of Ernest James. Big figure in Camden pols at end of the 90s and helped saved the borough's libraries from being closed down in historic council chamber revolt. Didn't mind being told off by the whips if it meant speaking out on something he believed in.

Thank you @GideonJAmos of the @LibDems for raising this today with the housing department. There are far too many unsafe buildings going up, with zero accountability for those who built. However @AlexJJNorris manages to simultaneously acknowledge the problem extends across the country, while also claiming there is no problem. The reality is as @dannybster from Agar Grove and many others know - there is no effective remedy. Will the Minister correct the record - as the response here falls far short of the truth. #buildingsafetycrisis #leasehold #buildbetterhomes

🟠 HAMPSTEAD & HIGHGATE: the Lib Dems have begun the selection - nominations closed on Friday - in the seat where Tulip Siddiq is in big trouble over her links to the deposed Bangladesh government led by her aunt Sheikh Hasina. Siddiq resigned as a Treasury minister in January.
