@Gerhardhormann Ah, die naam ken ik dan weer wel! Geen idee hoe het werk van de man klinkt, echter.

@FlipDynko Eigen werk, paar standards en iets wat sprekend leek op Dave Brubeck. Geen experimentele jazz.

Het gebeurt nogal eens dat mensen ongevraagd zeggen ‘niet van #jazz te houden’ als ik vertel naar zo’n voorstelling te zijn geweest. Niet nodig, niet aardig, niet origineel en eigenlijk ook best lomp.

@Gerhardhormann Edoch, jazz heeft vaak een bijzondere sfeer. Als soundtrack vind ik het dikwijls behoorlijk effectief, dus ik ben geen fan maar waardeer het wel. Wat voor soort jazz werd er gespeeld tijdens het concert? Was 't nieuw of afkomstig van een bekende componist, bijvoorbeeld?

@Gerhardhormann Nou, precies! En ondanks dat ik niet naar jazz luister, vind ik het wel interessant om te horen op de een of andere manier. Ik snap jazz niet, en andersom. Dat maakt het dus zo ontzettend intrigerend. Nee, postpunk is dat rooie goedje dat door míjn aderen stroomt.
