@scarswrath @Jetlife_Ryan_ @FlobbyDaigsnutz @C2_Cooper This is a collection of defensive talent the NBA has never seen before They have 6 legit all defensive team level players It’s a known fact that defenders with that reputation get away with more, we’ve just never seen a team stack 6 of those guys

Adam Silver, sits down at a dimly lit table surrounded by shadowy figures dressed in cloaks while rubbing their hands together with glee: “Alright cohorts, how can we rig the league in favor of a small market team from the plain states?”

@scarswrath @C2_Cooper I think OKC has superstar level defenders who are very good at little details that often go unnoticed when playing physically. When other teams go to match, most often their feet are late, they're not showing chest, and their arms and hads are in the cookie jar.

@FlobbyDaigsnutz @C2_Cooper So it’s a matter of they’re doing it right and other teams aren’t/cant replicate it?

@C2_Cooper @scarswrath Other teams try to match the physicality but aren’t as good at it when they try the same thing and get called. And all this is generally moot because OKC were 17th in FTA this yr!

@scarswrath I definitely think there is a discrepancy between *how* they defend and *how* other teams defend with regard to the terms of engagement and how officials manage interpreting it. I don’t think any of this is scripted, especially in favor of a small market team.

@KevinOConnor One gave you an exclusive interview and you want to ride the Windy train to millions and one didn’t. Seems like an easy decision to me.

The Clippers had Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, the Clippers had Isaiah Hartenstein, the Clippers' pick was used on Jalen Williams. The Clippers could sure use literally any of those guys.

Statement from Luka Doncic’s agent Bill Duffy of WME Basketball: "This season, Luka Dončić has performed at a historic level, leading the league in scoring, carrying the Lakers to third place in the Western Conference and placing himself in the middle of one of the most tightly contested MVP races in memory. To ensure that Luka’s incredible accomplishments this season are rightly honored and he can be considered for the league’s end-of-season awards, we intend to apply for an “Extraordinary Circumstances Challenge” to the 65-game rule. Luka missed two games this season for the birth of his second child in Slovenia. His daughter was born on Dec. 4 on another continent, and yet he was back in the United States competing with his team on Dec. 6. Luka has gone to great lengths to show up for his team and this league this season. His record-breaking season deserves to be noted in the history books, despite last night’s unfortunate injury and other extraordinary circumstances. We look forward to working with the NBAPA and the league office to ensure a fair outcome in this matter."
Shams Charania@ShamsCharania

Los Angeles Lakers star Luka Doncic is out indefinitely due to a left hamstring injury, sources tell me and @mcten. He will miss the remainder of the regular season and his status is uncertain beyond that.

@FlobbyDaigsnutz Hey! What to see is heavily dependent on what kind of experience you want to have. Lake como is stunning, so definitely recommended, but try to give a bit more in terms of what you are after. Food-wise, it is cliche i know, you can’t go wrong. Tell me more about your plan!

Fun fact: Shai can miss 175 shots in a row and he would still have a higher FG% than Luka. Market says SGA has a 92% chance of winning MVP on @Novig

I noticed this yesterday as well, my Following tab was reset to “Popular” without my permission. I had to go in and change it myself, once again, to “Recent” to bring back my chronological feed. Many probably haven’t noticed this and are just proceeding as if everything is status quo. Was this because the option was renamed from “Most Popular” to “Popular” and it glitched into restoring factory settings, @nikitabier?
Grant Shaida@grantshaida

@WobBurnerBurner you are the only person I follow that ever talks about timeline preferences. My Following tab is now inundated with tweets from accounts I don’t follow, with replies from accounts I do follow. Is this new? It is TERRIBLE.
