On April 14, a man wanted on a warrant in downtown Portland ran toward crowds of people while armed with a knife. Outdoor diners at NW 21st Ave. ran for their lives. The suspect pepper sprayed responding police.
Efforts by @PortlandPolice to tase him were unsuccessful so they just let the knifeman go after a standoff.

Body cameras killed the BLM movement. Now every time they try to canonize a new martyr, we quickly see the footage and it’s painfully obvious that the would-be martyr had it coming. Body cameras destroyed BLM. If the cops had been wearing them in Ferguson, BLM could have been extinguished a decade ago.

But the fact that I loathe Halo is because the only thing it added was a negative to the genre as a whole. Regenerating health is a blight on the genre. Slowing games down and encouraging lazy level design.

It didn't do vehicles first, Cybermage and Necrodome had them. It didn't do sticky bombs, that was Shadow Warrior (also rail guns). Integrating story, realism, cinematics was Deus Ex, Sin. ONLY shield.

What about map design and enemy ai. The enemy ai was very creative and exceptional during that time.

@Deathzbo7426 @kabrutusrambo The only thing Halo added to the genre was the regenerating shield. Now, Halo's implementation, the regenerating SHIELD separate from the health was actually decent. Not good, decent. Other companies took the WRONG idea from it.
All it does though is stop the gameplay cold.

@MowzaProduction @kabrutusrambo Just because Halo is baby's first FPS doesn't mean others hadn't played far, far better classics long before it ever existed.
Doom 1 & 2, Deus Ex, Half-Life, Cybermage, Hexen, System Shock 1 and 2, Duke Nukem 3D, Shadow Warrior, Necrodome, etc.
The list goes on for hours.
