મુખ્યમંત્રી શ્રી ભૂપેન્દ્રભાઈ પટેલે આગામી ચોમાસાની સંભવિત વરસાદી સ્થિતિને પહોંચી વળવા રાજ્ય સરકારની સજ્જતા અને આગોતરા આયોજન બાબતે રાજ્ય સરકારના વિવિધ વિભાગોના વરિષ્ઠ સચિવશ્રીઓ ઉપરાંત કેન્દ્રીય હવામાન વિભાગ તથા NDRF અને કોસ્ટગાર્ડના અધિકારીઓની ઉપસ્થિતિમાં આજે ગાંધીનગર ખાતે ઉચ્ચસ્તરીય સમીક્ષા બેઠક યોજી હતી. મુખ્યમંત્રીશ્રીએ સૌરાષ્ટ્ર અને કચ્છ વિસ્તારમાં વરસાદી સ્થિતિના સમયે જરૂર જણાયે પ્રશાસનની સહાયતા માટે NDRFની ટીમ સમયસર પહોંચે તે હેતુસર કચ્છ-સૌરાષ્ટ્ર માટે એક ટીમ પરમેનેન્ટ ડીપ્લોય રહે તે જરૂરી હોવાનું જણાવી જરૂરી સંકલન માટે સૂચનાઓ આપી હતી. મુખ્યમંત્રીશ્રીએ આ ઉપરાંત ભારે વરસાદને કારણે હાઇવે-માર્ગોને નુકસાન થાય તો તાકીદે રીપેરીંગ કરવા સાથે વૈકલ્પિક રૂટ તૈયાર રાખવા અંગે પણ માર્ગદર્શન આપ્યું હતું.
