I have liked Mikautadze for awhile. Doing better recently at Villareal as a small forward in a 4-4-2. Don't think this new Spurs rumours are true as the manager isn't sorted. Team just need to concentrate on fighting relegation.

@FplRusty @DataMB_ I think Mikautadze could be grossly underestimated. He performed very well in quite a dud team. And didn't let the Ajax debacle influence his mentality.

Spurs are actually so bad in the transfer market these days. Vicario is clearly wanted in Serie A. Still an Italian international. £17m does not get half a quality replacement. £17m does not even get a promising 19 year old now.

After a full season on Xavi Simons: not your classic playmaker. Elite vision? Elite creativity? Not quite there. Passing weight inconsistent, zero killer through balls. He wants to be a ball-striker & finisher. More of a goal threat than an orchestrator. That profile thrives in attack-heavy systems like the Bundesliga — but in the Premier League, fitting him as a pure #10 is tricky. For #THFC to fully unlock him will require proper technicians deeper/wide linking up with his runs & shots.

Sadly, this Leipzig team is going to get gutted again in the summer. Wonder where Diomande will end up. Brighton reject Gruda also proving to be a tidy player. Should stay in the Bundesliga. Baumgartner has reached another level and might want a nice final contract.
