@liparota @FootyLock6 I can't see why fans are annoyed by this. We're 1-9 this year, and 1-23 or similar longer term. Any record like that will have 'sacking' stories swirling. Nobody should be surprised media will beat it up. Don't like their style, don't watch! 🤷

@FootyLock6 I absolutely agree with the Barracking but I also think he’s pretty emphatic which means he’s also chasing. I don’t wish it to be true to be honest but just keeping an open mind. I do think he knows something. Whether it eventuates remains to be seen.

I actually like Brad Scott, he’s come in and done what he’s needed to do. Needed someone strong to deal with the off field rubbish, change the culture, lift the standards and most importantly, got rid of Dodo and Campbell (Barham too).

@liparota Yeah always could be true for sure, think you and I have discussed this before. Think it’s different to Merrett though, he’s talking about an entire board decision, not just one bloke. But even in that situation, he still barracked it into life also

@FootyLock6 I think we shouldn’t completely discount it. Di Pietro was definitely a hand picked Welsh appointment to the board as a trusted advisor. He and Richards were not part of the initial strategy. Everyone rubbished his “Merrett wants a trade” story until it crystallised.

@FootyLock6 Not a big club filling up stories that have to be made up. Strange when there’s a club touted as top 4 WB are struggling to make the 10 and another club is searching for a coach. Then there’s the good story of the Dees but nah better run with small club made up.

It’s funny, we can all get so angry at the game, annoyed at players, coaches etc, but as soon as the media posts some absolute tripe, we’re all in it together 😂
