@Abebab A crowdsourced, transparent process of unaffiliated humans with no corporate influence, submitting audit rules to governments and regulators is hardly status quo It is political, in the sense that we are massively biased to human risk mitigation

agreed but also setting standards is itself a political move and not sure how we do it in a way that simply doesn't conform to status quo

@Abebab I feel like one issue is there is no standard to audit to. What does it mean for a LLM to not be biased or toxic? This gives companies a lot of wiggle room to order superficial audits or ignore results because there's no certification.

@RobMcCargow Lake effect snow is such a unique event. 2 meters of snow in one place and 30 miles away - nothing. It is equal parts, amazing, glorious and ominous ( I grew up with it). Those regions are built to handle it. Hope you are doing well, my friend, it has been too long

@dgersh @rajiinio @IEthics thanks Denise - and yes this is exactly what we already do, but we do it with governments and regulators around the world. We also provide all of our infrastructure so auditors and pre-auditors can succeed - companies and government are increasingly engaging

I agree with this. But also, there's so many cases where we can put together an oversight board and just ...make standards.. I don't know why it is always presented as this impossible task. That's literally what happened in every other industry with a mature audit ecosystem.
