@Mobyhaque1 The best player in my lifetime alongside Stevie. It’ll all hit us when we line up for the first game of the season in August and he’s not there. I’m not ready for it at all.

Some of our fans will one day look back and realize what he really was. For most of us it was painfully clear long ago. I have never seen a player this consistent year after year like Mo in every season he was with us bar this one. ❤️

They’ve all won more trophies, potted more balls, got more centuries etc etc with the old chalk but now all of a sudden it’s a major issue. I understand sport and life evolves but come on, it’s not like it was the devil before the circular chalk came out.

Not saying all of them were good enough or the circumstances were all in our control, but that's going to be Jones, Elliott, Trent, Quansah and Morton all gone in the space of a year.
Feels like any identity that we used to have is slowly fading. It's kinda sad.

Under conditioned squad, players and staff that are disconnected from the city and a first team coaching staff that are constantly reminded by head academy staff to have an input and come down to the academy. It’s getting further and further from being Liverpool FC than ever.

Slot is always having breaks and holidays and days off. Rarely watches or visits the academy. Never in Liverpool training fringe and youth during NT breaks. Gives a day off between a weekend and a midweek fixture, and many days when it's a week gap. We are very undertrained.

@For_TheReds @TaintlessRed I've seen a few takes like this and while I get the point, I think it's becoming more apparent that it was Jurgen who we got behind and who instilled the belief and helped us bring our fan culture through.. pre and post Klopp looks like FSG modus operandi

Anthony Gordon was desperate to make the move to Liverpool two years ago. It will also be interesting to see whether Liverpool rekindle their interest in a player they were close to signing in the summer of 2024. A long-term injury to Hugo Ekitike may force Liverpool to sign another forward in the next transfer window and Gordon’s ability to play across the front three could hold fresh appeal. He is a boyhood Liverpool supporter and would jump at the chance to return to Merseyside if the opportunity came.

@ianyoungkop Massively mate. They got last summer wrong by not replacing Diaz and signing the extra CB, they got Jan wrong by not acting early in the needed areas and now they’re going to fall short in the summer again due to a lack of players to sell. Also got a potential manager change…😬

Get the feeling Slots preparing us for a sale we won’t like here. I’m guessing one of Alisson, Virgil or Dom, Alisson or Virgil because we could get a fee for either one who are considered past their prime, or Dom because he won’t sign the contract.

Attitude is made up of multiple factors. Believing in the club project, training the way you play, faith in the style of play and manager’s tactics are all part of it. All parts I don’t think many players are convinced by anymore.
