I’ve been notified that, after five incredible years, my role at Dexerto is at risk of redundancy. I’ve been a little blindsided by this news but I don’t want to waste any time in looking for new opportunities. I have over eight years of editorial experience as an esports and gaming journalist, including three years in senior editing roles managing teams across various verticals and time zones, working on business unit strategy, developing various streams of traffic and audience acquisition, and working closely with key stakeholders and contributors. While I love writing, editing, and building engaged audiences, I’m also extremely interested in speaking with PR/Comms agencies about opportunities in the field. I’d like to thank Dexerto for all the opportunities to grow and develop over the years, and will be sad if this does eventually end in redundancy. With that said, I’m as motivated as ever and excited to continue learning and developing my skill set, wherever that may be. Any leads would be incredible!

@JayFromTheUK_ Possibly, but eight months is a lot of time to iron out kinks. At least, you'd hope so. I just want them to improve their communication, because we've heard practically nothing until now.

@FordJamesGames Main worry that I have going forward with it, they have stated that they're far away from where they want to be, does it also mean that there will be issues still for the next iteration of the series? There's still about 8 months left of development time for them.

No surprises, called it when it was delayed. Lots of chatter around them being obligated to release a game annually which was always just hearsay. Can't say I'm disappointed either, but FM26 has a *lot* of living up to do.
