Perspective. POV. I moved 3 cubic yards of rocks to the backyard again. One shovel, one wheelbarrow at a time. It’s easier when you’ve done it before. Experience makes a difference. I moved these retaining wall blocks to the side yard, only about 10 yards. Two hundred and twenty blocks total, weighing about 54 pounds each. It took me about 4 hours over 3 days. I was exhausted. You don’t know until you’ve done it. I’m stronger now. Life is full of miracles. Whether it be a flower, or the fact that you exist; there are many miracles in the world. I’ve been searching for meaning, for purpose, for knowledge that puts life into perspective. I thought I already knew. Yet, there’s more; there’s perspectives. Moments you haven’t experienced yet, from a different point of view. We’ve been watching NCIS, and there was a particular episode that resonated. Jimmy Palmer is dying. His daughter asks him if he going to die. And he says “Yes.” “And so are you.” We all will. It’s not important how. It’s important about how you live your life. And terrible things will happen. But with terrible events, there are helpers. They referenced Mr Rogers, the Mr Rogers’ Neighborhood movie. Look for the helpers. Be an amazing helper. As my dad’s friend says, “When it’s your time, it’s your time.” No use worrying about your time; just live the best life you can. This perspective is from my point of view.
