@Sae1521451@WhodeySkyline@ElevatedSpeaks@VALORANT idk about that but ik for sure any agents like neon for example wouldve been perma banned every game in high level ranked. right now id say the strongest agent is prob phoenix honestly. hard to say tho
There has been a lot of talk about the health of @VALORANT as a game right now. One thing I think the game could implement to immediately improve the player experience for everyone is to unlock all characters from day 1.
The current system kills the hype of any new Agent release by forcing you to either pay money for earlier access or grind out the Agent unlock, which for a casual player is probably like 1-2 weeks of delay.
New content releases should be a flurry of excitement where everyone is desperately trying play the new stuff. Instead, by the time most people have access to the Agent it feels like the moment is completely missed. Early on in the game it used to be hard to make content for new Agents because everyone was insta-locking them in the pick screen but these days I'll grind out the agent in a day or two so I can learn it or make a video and I'll be the only person playing the agent for like a week. Anyone who might return to the game after a big patch to check out the new content is way more likely to go do something else than invest 10-15 hours just trying to access the new Agent. I can't imagine that many people are buying new Agents or that it's a major part of the game's revenue.
The current system is also super problematic for what should be one of the selling points of this game which is character diversity. No wonder everyone is a Jett main and people hate playing Controller and Sentinels, your starting options are Brimstone and Sage. Maybe the simplicity made sense in beta or year 1 but now new players are being boxed into very boring choices as their first experience of Valorant. Literally no one is going to try and learn Astra after being introduced to Controller with Brimstone's point and click smoke system.
There will be 30 playable Agents by the end of the year, it's wild that you only get to play 5 when you start the game without spending money or grinding for months to access the full roster. In another couple years you're going to be asking new players to invest an INSANE amount of time just to have access to the "full game". This system is really prohibitive for both new players and returning players. (yes I understand that things like game-pass exist)
It's also bad for the pro scene. You would be shocked how many pros play like an hour of a new Agent during early access and then never bother to unlock it unless it's in their main role. This means less pros actually learning the new Agents and playing them in tournaments. Remember, Yoru was the power-level he was for literally 3 years before he was popular. Removing any barrier to access makes it way more likely for people to randomly try out the Agent and potentially fall in love with the play pattern.
Valorant has actually done a very good job making almost every Agent fun and unique to play. However, the barrier to entry is such that most people just stick to what they know and forget about the other options.
@WhodeySkyline@ElevatedSpeaks@VALORANT also regarding bans, theyve said before that theyre interested in adding agent bans for example but are waiting for more agents to come out supposedly. how many exactly wasnt stated
@WhodeySkyline@ElevatedSpeaks@VALORANT 1 day? are you serious? im not ashamed to admit ive played on alt accounts before. and i will say that you most definitely dont unlock agents in a day. it should be easier, it must be depressing as a new player to have your choices limited
@CATXALOTE_@Buizaru_el@RocketBullets wasnt paper rex made as a cs team originally? isnt that how they were first established? a former cs pro co founded it in sea.
@Buizaru_el@RocketBullets Paper Rex cogió un equipo de Counter Strike que no daba un palo al agua de una estructura ya formada. No me parece el mejor ejemplo imo
@snowconedeitee i think it was destined for this game to turn into an asian dominated esport ngl. china has such an unreal pull on this game despite being the weakest region its unreal. although the tier 2 scene is valorant has a lot more depth than many other esport scenes. its not gonna die
the vct emea stuff, the dying viewership across every region besides pacific, americas not having crowds for like half the weeks in stage one. i think it’s happening. valorant is dying.
need some help!
i factory reset my pc because it was running terribly.
reinstalled rocket league but I can’t open it. It shows the EAC initialization screen and then just closes. I attempted to do it on epic games, same thing. Fall guys does open so I don’t think it’s an EAC.
@ThisIsBhandari@mariminakami to me i just think other factors made it pretty hard for primmie to "show off" like he does in that game specifically. i dont think its right to use it as a way to show individual skill especially when it seems like a one off game. even prx players themselves have glazed this guy
@ThisIsBhandari@mariminakami i do think experience is also a factor, while i think primmie does seem pretty calm majority of the time. a grand final is pretty big and if it didnt effect him it definitely effected his rookie teammates. i mean its a pretty young team overall no?
@ganesh180907@mariminakami no its just better teams give you less chances to kill with pure mechanics alone. primmie is and i think has been for a while now, the best mechanical player itw.
@ThisIsBhandari@mariminakami i mean it was more due to paper rex completely outclassing full sense as a whole. most of the tijme he was fighting multiple people at once or overwhelmed by util. they basically didnt give him a chance which i mean i think prx is the best team itw so makes sense.
i can play the game with no issues without anti cheat. ive tried like every chatgpt fix. deleted all files, reinstalled, verified, dns scan, dism scan, vc reinstall, i legit dont know what else to do
@tms_rl@SheepRLE fortnite merged to ue5 before it was "released". it being released is basically it being available for public usage. the merge im expecting to be around 2027
@ethanol__7@JUR0HH most of them are miracle runs tho, like that nrg run was unreal for valorant and i thiink the bracket favoured nrg pretty well in rlcs
