Well, this pretty much settles it. The U.S. "precisely" bombed a school full of children and teachers in Iran. The NYT figured it out with photos and social media; meanwhile Pete "Stupid Rules of Engagement" Hegseth is "investigating" the matter. They know exactly what they did.

This notion that Talarico is more "untested" than Crockett is a stretch. He's been one of the best-known Democrats in TX for years (along with Crockett) & they're both "established stars" at the nat'l level. Neither has run a complex statewide campaign; only one pulled it off.

Got to enjoy this if you're an R. The idea that Talarico was untested and not a star - he was quite famous for a state rep by the time he got in, profiled by Politico in 2023 - feeds this idea that the Dem elites pushed aside a qualified black woman

Talarico-Crockett Watch: You could call Hays County (San Marcos, Kyle, Buda, Dripping Springs) a bellwether for the larger Austin area. So far, Talarico is crushing. 74-20.
Looking statewide, Crockett has a narrow lead, 51-47. Kinda think Talarico has the edge right now.

Big BAD John's lead statewide has a lot to do with how well he is doing in the big cities, at least the ones reporting. Right now he's beating Paxton in Harris, Dallas, and Tarrant.

The big one dropped. Harris early vote is in and Crockett has the lead 54-45 but Ta;arico just posted big leads in Travis and Hispanic strongholds like Cameron in the RGV. Not good for her. Talarico took the edge statewide.
