For my many new (& much appreciated) Scottish followers: • I love Scotland • were I a Scot I would be pro-Indy, albeit with concerns about the currency, the practicability of EU membership while England remains out, and debt • I would (I do) hate the racist, insular element of the English • I was a big fan of Alex Salmond, arguably a great man & certainly a great loss • I cannot stand Sturgeon. I believe her conduct in the attempt to stitch him up was corrupt & contemptible & that she cannot not have known of Murrell’s perfidy, from which she benefited. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Its time for civil disobedience starting from the Top every pro Independence MSP must now sign a bill to change the franchise of Scottish elections to only allow Political parties registered in Scotland to stand for elections to the Scottish Parliament and ban donations from outside Scotland to these parties.

@A_D_PHIL @larabirdsnp Private companies are not a law unto themselves, though. They are regulated by the law of the land, which is controlled by the sovereign authority of the country. In theory, the whole energy sector in Scotland could be renationalised either wholly or in part if so desired.
