I am black american and im telling you our cultural attributes truly are not as distinct as we'd like to believe they are. Saying something like this shows you dont know a damn thing and diasporic cultures. Alot of what we call Black Culture is glorified American Poverty. Texas, Michigan, The Carolinas, DMV, Georgia, Louisiana and New York are the hubs of true authentic black culture. With South Carolina being the nucleus. Everything else is just generic american poverty meaning blacks from states full of poor whites.
