When Arsenal smashed Spurs 4-1 in February Peter Schmeichel was sat just at the front of the press box. When Gyokeres scored the fourth goal Schmeichel stormed out of his seat to head down to get ready for his post match interview with steam coming out of his ears. He was fuming and clearly so, so gutted at seeing Arsenal win so well. Any other team today, he 100% says that's clear foul and backs the keeper. Seeing him like this just makes that win feel even sweeter.

With respect to my colleagues in the football writing industry, I am stunned that Bruno Fernandes has been named FWA Footballer of the Year instead of Declan Rice. Rice has literally won more matches this season (35) than Fernandes has even played (34). telegraph.co.uk/football/2026/…

We’re giving penalties for deflected handballs but not for that? Fucking farcical.

Absolute joke that the Burnley game has been moved to the Monday at this late notice. So many fans of both clubs out of pocket having booked flights, hotels, travel, etc. So many now won't be able to go because of work issues, childcare, etc. Final home game of the season, place should be bouncing afterwards, especially if there is something on the Palace game for Arsenal. Supporters roaring the team on at the lap of appreciation, etc, before they head to Selhurst Park. Yet that will probably be at about 10.30/10.45pm now, probably to a half empty stadium because do many have to get off for trains, etc. It's just a disgraceful situation. Again, zero thought for fans at all. Broadcasters just don't care.
