@zarazhangrui Exactly. The building is signed off by the architect, not the bricklayer. This is the difference between authorship and ownership.

In the same vein, writing ≠ generating text In fact, generating text is the LEAST important part of the writing process So many people mistake LLMs as good writers just because it can generate text well

gpt-5.3 instant is such a confusing release openai said updates to 'thinking' and 'pro' are coming soon, but about an hour later they posted "gpt-5.4 sooner than you think" i doubt they'll replace 5.3 instant for 5.4 instant in a few days so i guess we'll end up using 5.3 instant + 5.4 thinking... for some reason

@DrTechlash They’re on the Sam Harris podcast too. This is PR for the new book, but nothing too shocking to people who’ve followed Yudkowski throughout the years.

@haider1 Do you use it for non-coding tasks also? CC is very useful there, I haven’t been able to use Codex that way effectively.

Haider.
Haider.@haider1·
you should try Codex because GPT-5 is better than Opus at following instructions and uses a different approach to writing code with Claude Code, you needed multiple agents to ensure it followed your instructions but with Codex and GPT-5 (AGENTS .md) files are enough for great results

@alexalbert__ Automating lesson plans. I have a stable structure for lectures and cc built a protocol and executes it to generate new lectures for my courses.

I'm making a list of all the non-coding things people are doing with Claude Code. What are you using Claude Code for?

Two big updates for you on Flow: Flow.google is now live in 71 more countries and all Pro subscribers now have access to Veo 3. What you've been creating has blown our minds. Keep the creativity (and great feedback - we know we have a lot of work to do!) coming.

It's much harder to build a reliable "apply changes" button for a rich text editor than it is for code editors A lot of products have half-baked versions, we worked hard to make sure this is bulletproof Hope you like it! And please let us know if you spot areas for improvement
