So having now spent about 90 hours with Crimson Desert. I realize I was right about the early game boss adjustments. People were complaining about the health nerf. However those bosses were adjusted for the appropriate challenge they were ment to have. There are bosses even with some of the best gear in the game I've found and upgraded with heavy abyss mods. That can 2 to 3 shot you if you even think about getting hit. The game has a metric ton to explore. An those early game bosses don't even scratch the surface of how difficult and near cheating some of the later boss fights can be. This game does a good job of rewarding you for using appropriate builds. An building up your character prior to taking on some of the tougher missions of which there are plenty.

Dude came up to me in the gym today. Couldn't tell if he was the same age as me or older. Asked if I used to be a body builder. I laughed and said "Oh, no." He said, "Well I figured body builder or football or something, because your lats are gigantic, and it's all muscle, too". It's a long road back from last year. Not anywhere near back to the basic frame. But that and being asked for a spot from two guys trying to hit their max bench the last couple of days...makes me feel good about the work and small progress.
