You are an elite Manager and Captain Guru so i will always respect your views but this sounds like propaganda against the Welsh Wizard and i hereby defend his case for those like me who want to feel good about giving him the armband: In the last 6 weeks, here is what Harry has been up to: GW25 Everton (h) - 2 points - Everton have been a much better team away from 🏠 and are more than capable of shutting out the best attackers GW26 Man City (a) - 2 points - One of the toughest fixtures of the season and its safe to say Fulham didnt see much of the ball that game GW27 Sun (a) - 8 points - Tough away fixture against a team that went unbeaten at home longer than any other team in the Prem. Harry got an assist, 16 defcons (!) and a bonus point 👏 GW28 Spurs (h) - 12 points - 1 goal and 1 assist from 0.36 xGI is efficient. He's the 4th highest scoring midfielder for a reason. For context, Tavernier of B'mouth has racked up 5 points in his last 2 games from an xGI of 2.05 GW29 West Ham (h) - Harry didnt play in this game so comparative data to other midfielders is therefore skewed GW30 Forest (a) - 3 points - in the back yard of a team fighting relegation is no picnic. Tough game against a team defending for their lives. Still, he racked up 0.35 xGI and proves his consistency The eye test trumps data analysis on this occasion. Harry has been one of the best midfielders in the Premier League this season with 9 goals and 8 assists from 23 games (where he has played 60 mins +). His timing in making runs is superb. He delivers excellent corners and the odd free kick and possesses excellent technique in shooting which he must have worked on. Last time he faced Burnley, he racked up his biggest points haul of the season with 16 points. I watched that game and Harry was everywhere. He got 1 goal, 2 assists and could have easily scored 1 or 2 more. If you have Wilson in your team, he is a brilliant captaincy option in a week where there aren't many options. Bruno is formidable and the best midfielder in the game but I'm betting on a team who have gone ten games unbeaten and who have been involved in three 0-0 draws in their last four games giving United a much tougher game than what Burnley will give Fulham.
