@SkenesNat Check out the list of past OD starters. My word...Brubaker, Kuhl, Eric Bedard, Kevin Correia, Zach Duke, Paul Maholm, Ian Snell, Ron Villone, Wade Ritchie...and that doesn't even mention the guys who weren't half bad...Oliver Perez, Kip Wells, Kris Benson. baseball-reference.com/teams/PIT/open…

@garymo2007 @NorthShoreNine Thanks! And I hear that...I just think the team will need at least four catchers as the year drags on into August and September. I've seen enough of the likes of Dusty Brown. I used to think you need to roster three catchers on your 40 man...I think you probably need four now.

@garymo2007 @NorthShoreNine Sorry! I couldn't remember...just wanted to properly credit one of you. Both of you have excellent shows! Your content gets me through my workout every day!

Santana Soto Mattson Lawrence Clevinger Montgomery Ramirez Sanders? In my mind, everything is set except for that lost spot in the bullpen. Maybe Cam Sanders, maybe Urquidy as another long man to go with Clevinger? IDK...

I still think there's a decent chance Konnor Griffin starts in the Majors. My best guess at an OD roster Reynolds Cruz O'Hearn Triolo Griffin Lowe Horwitz Davis Ozuna Bart Mangum Callihan Gonzalez Skenes Keller Ashcraft Chandler Mlodzinski

I personally think Bart needs to be on the team that goes to NYC in a week, and I suspect he'll and Davis will more or less split time at the start of the year, with maybe a 60/40 split favoring Davis.

Davis has had his struggles with the bat. Endy and Flores are still too young and you don't know what you're getting with either. Bart probably has both the lowest ceiling and the highest floor of the four. Again, crediting one of the above two with this point originally.

@themoviedadsc And if they invest it in a Roth IRA, that $2 million will be totally tax free in retirement. I didn't know any of this when I was 18. I wish that I did. Hindsight is 20/20, but we can at least tell the next generation about the 8th wonder of the world--compounding interest.

@themoviedadsc Even the most broke college kid can usually save $100/month if they want to. Get the lower tier cell phone plan. Cut out one streaming subscription. Sacrifice one meal out and three trips to Starbucks. That's probably more than $100.

@SteelCityBucs30 So is tjStuff+ a stat you want to do well on? Is it measuring how good your "stuff" is, or how likely you are to require TJ surgery in the future? Serious question.

But seriously...email has been mainstream for what...30 years? At least? The only time I ever send anything via snail mail anymore are Christmas thank you cards. If I have a package, it's UPS or FedEx. USPS has more or less become obsolete.

I regularly get mail at my address for a previous resident who has been deceased for over a decade. Plus all the junk mail that no one wants, no one asked for, and we throw immediately into the trash. I wish Congress would pass a bill banning junk mail.
Breitbart News@BreitbartNews

Postmaster General David Steiner is asking Congress to allow him to borrow more money to cover costs as well as to increase the price of a U.S. first class stamp from 78 cents to 95 cents.

@Joeinblack Just be glad this didn't happen in the age of social media. It would have gone viral in about two hours with people you've never met calling for you to be laicized. Because, as I said last week, they all know how to priest better than us.

Fr. Joseph Krupp@Joeinblack·
I was ordained in 1998. I took a group of sophomores on retreat at a retreat center. We had a hard leave time because we needed to take the bus to get back to school before the buses left. So, it was time to pray mass and when I went to the sacristy to vest, I could not get in: a priest was in there hearing confessions from another retreat. In the end, I got a stole from my truck and explained to the students I was not able to wear vestments because of a weird situation. I told them this shouldn’t happen but I couldn’t figure out another way. During mass, the Bishop (Karl) came in to see the mass. The next day, he called and tore me a new one for 20 minutes. He was furious. I explained the situation and he told me in the future to not pray mass if I was not able to vest properly. I asked his forgiveness and learned my lesson. I say this because priests are normal people. We make mistakes and learn and grow. Somewhere out there is a picture of me praying mass in my clerics and a stole. You can post it and condemn me or rejoice that I learned something. The outrage machine is consuming people like this poster I’m replying to and it’s a tragedy. Jesus promises us that the measure we use to measure others will be measured back to us. I think of that every day.
