As a pastor in Florida, I would welcome a call or visit from someone curious about our church. My suggestion is to find a church where their website talks a lot about both jesus and grace. It’s simplistic but it’s the beginning of a journey. It’s ok to spend time visiting several churches. In my experience, God will tap you on the shoulder and say... “here.”

If you've been following me lately, you know that I talked about being Jesus-curious after Charlie Kirk's memorial. I never expected almost 2 million people to see that. Shawn and I are going to try church tomorrow. But how do you pick a church? People said to pick a good church. I don't even know what that means. I always thought that "church" was inherently good. Charlie's memorial wasn't even a week ago and it feels like ages ago at the same time. I want to feel what I felt during the music again. I want to hear someone talk about Jesus, not shame people like me for not knowing Jesus. I'm honest enough to admit that I'm afraid, I won't even lie. This is absolutely terrifying because I have avoided it for years. So how do we pick? What do we look for? How do you know you're not going to get sucked down the wrong path? What I do know is that I feel compelled to be a part of this.

Texas Dems fled the state to prevent a vote on redistricting. They were given until 3PM yesterday to return. They didn't. Republicans followed through on Rep. @BriscoeCain's threat to issue ARREST warrants & bring them BACK. It'll be interesting to see how this plays out 👇

Part1: I’ve got a heartbreaking admission to make that I’m completely torn about. This whole time I believed the news media (and the man himself) that @RealDanODowd was a highly respected expert regarding autonomous vehicle safety. My kids are still traumatized by something I did. One day we were driving and my 4 year old son asked for something and I said not right now, he then threw his action figure and hit me in the head. I immediately threw it out the window at 70 mph 🤣 They still talk about it 15 years later It never happened again
