>It's ok for franchises to end Something that I have been saying for a bit now. We don't need remakes, remasters, just let things pass. Can there be exceptions to the rule? Yes. But it's been my thought that it's better to leave things where they are, & maybe a fan group can do it through mods. Otherwise, let franchises end or stay dead.

1. W for admitting you're a Resident Evil tourist. 2. You'll get used to the fixed camera angles and tank controls in like 20 minutes. 3. These games ARE beautiful, and mostly hold up nearly 30 years later. Take this time to graduate from tourist to fan. Respect. (Hopefully)

Except with the fixed cameras, there is a greater threat. You don't know what's around the corner; you have to actually start paying attention. Listening to when you go into an area, are there birds? Are there dogs, or zombies? In a horror setting, it works great because they have to have good sound design to accompany and help set the atmosphere of what you're walking into. So more care in the game.

@dermy_wermy @BoltTheWord @Rick_Racket Because of sub-humans like you that dont understand the atmosphere and design to the fixed camera. But seriously. If I had to hazard a guess, it was because of RE4 and the 3rd person perspective was an easier design route to take.

@BoltTheWord @Rick_Racket Good for you, but if the game has the final boss move into the one area that you can't see no matter where you stand, causing you have to shoot blindly hoping you hit him, that's not a skill issue that is a game issue.
