New X algorithm dropped today - here’s the highlights: - short video content promoted - but not too short. Like not less than one second, because that would basically be just a photograph that moves slightly - Spanish Civil War posts guaranteed 10M views each (Elon’s latest hyperfocus) - uggos no longer allowed to post selfies - being mean to me now illegal - even in the DMs - every “political” account must have a harmless side interest like baking or cats or something queer like that - fake news still allowed so long as it’s sort of funny - the first post you see when you open the app in the morning will contain a coded message about the timing and manner of your death - if Elon replies to you the algo will arrange for your immediate impregnation - yes, even if you’re a man - Elon has the technology for that now

I spent a while putting this together. 1.5 hours later, it has 350 views. Last night, I randomly posted a few posts throwing shade at Drake and was getting 350 views in 5 minutes. Original content is not rewarded in the algorithm.
