It’s 4am … I listen to BBC world service. The says it’s a living hell. Children walking in circles shocked, silently screaming, made unrecognisable by 3rd degree burns. There’s no aid, no medicine, no medication available. Now they scream in agony, stumble like the walking dead. Why aren’t we seeing or hearing this in the main News Bulletins? It should be played every time the Archbishop speaks. Every time our rulers say there’s no alternative. I’ve just seen a video of injuries resulting from a “small bomb” dropped on the car park of the Al-Shifa hospital. The footage of an aftermath of a “small” IDF strike, maiming those in the vicinity of a hospital, will live with me forever. A man loses his leg, screaming in agony. He was probably waiting for loved ones inside the hospital. Or seeking shelter. I swear I will not rest until every single politician in my county is held accountable for facilitating and excusing such unbelievable crimes. Every journalist. Every public figure. They must be held to account.

4. Here’s the problem. This Friday sees the @UNHumanRights SOCIAL FORUM take place in Geneva Switzerland. Who have they made the chair of this event? The IRI. It is beyond offensive. The UN 🇺🇳 have been asked repeatedly to revoke IRI chairmanship for this event - 92,000 have already signed a petition to do so - but so far nothing. The IRI regime is being allowed to operate without censure. UN 🇺🇳 sanctions do not work either because when you sanction a country you expect behavioural change. The IRI have not changed their behaviour one iota in 44 years. Sanctioning them is like being attacked by a group of zombies and politely asking them if they would consider a vegan diet. ⬇️
