BREAKING: In a joint operation this morning involving Sandton SAPS, SAPS Crime Intelligence, and IRS Forensic Investigations; a residential premises in Fourways was raided and a female suspect was taken in for questioning. The suspect has been linked to multiple criminal cases worth millions of rands. The suspect, using various aliases and company names, presented herself as a “lead generator” for the insurance and medical aid industry and through deliberate misrepresentation, induced insurance brokers to pay across large sums of money for non-existent clients. The suspect was previously featured on the Devi Show on @eNCA and an article was written about her on FAnews. 12 SENIOR POLICE OFFICERS ARRESTED FOR THE ALLEGED CORRUPTION LINKED TO THE MEDICARE 24 CONTRACT The NPA’s IDAC effected an arrest of 12 senior police officers and a director of a company in relation to the irregular awarding of a tender to Medicare 24. All accused are expected to make their first appearance before the Pretoria Magistrates’ Court on charges of corruption, fraud and the Contravention of the PFMA.
