Indian govt writes to X to block/ban Rauf Klasra’s twitter account. It has come as a huge surprise for me that Indian Government feels quite insecure and threatened with my tweets so now it has complained/written to X to block me. Last year, my youtube channel ( Rauf Klasra) was also blocked in India by its govt besides dozen of other Pakistani journalists. Perhaps my yesterday tweet has become an immediate reason when replying to an Indian on X, I appreciated Ex PM Nehru sb, Ex PM Lal Bhadur Shastri sb. Ex PM Vajpayee sb & Ex PM Manmohan Singh. Perhaps I did not include Vishwaguru Modi sb in this league of extraordinary Indian Prime Ministers,whom I personally admire for different reasons. I have always promoted peace and friendship between India and Pakistan even during worts of times, wars and clashes. I am a peace lover not a warmonger and always promoted the same in my tv shows, columns and tweets. I never promoted or encouraged hate or abuse. Perhaps that is reason Indian govt dislikes me as I promote peace and love not hate on Indian tv screens where journalists/panelist from both the countries use bad and hateful words on channel screens. India is a big country of 1.5 bn people with worlds’ largest economy and stature but strangely it feels insecure and threatened by tweets of someone who appreciates the past Indian prime ministers? I do not use strong or bad words for countries or individual including India and Indians rather address them with utmost respect. So I am surprised to see such a big country, now writing to X to ban account of an ordinary journalist from Pakistan? Just wondering a Pakistani journalist’s tweets can brainwash 1.5bn people and turn them against their own Govt? Are you serious, mate ? All said and done, let me say thank you for making me realize how much I matter in India, India’s power circles and big guns of Indian govt. First time in my life,I am taking myself seriously.
