Hey everyone, we know we've been a little quiet out here - but, as we get closer to the mid-Season 2 update, we wanted to take a chance to get the ball rolling again. Later this week we'll be sharing a blog covering some of the mid-Season 2 updates, including balance changes, details on Vault Breaker, a few much-needed weapon adjustments, and details on a buff to Cradle progression. (This blog is just a preview, and we'll have the full list of patch notes the morning of July 21st.) But, in the meantime, our ear is to the ground. We want to know what you're feeling. @MarathonDevTeam D54 is a great CQC option but it has too much range, WSTR feels utterly useless as a competitor to other shotgun options, Bubbles need to be rotated out or made vulnerable by EMPs and Volt weapons because they’re too oppressive in fights, and red room on Pinwheel needs some love

One thing that has me scratching my head walking away from tennocon is why the hell did bungie never do anything like this? Can you imagine a stadium arena filled with destiny fans roaring and cheering at the annual expansion reveal? Would’ve been absolutely unreal

1/3 - Putting my portfolio together (willowstration.com) after being let go from Bungie last week was very challenging. This was the last thing to do in order to close the chapter on a very happy period of my career, and as sad as that is I'm very proud of how it turned out.

The tough part about my situation is that I was only under a contract with the agency SIE uses for paid work. Meaning I have no severance, this is my last paid day for myself & family of 3 young children. Any support is welcomed while I go through the journey to replace my income

Would have been 14 years at Bungie working on Destiny. Like MANY of us, I'm also affected by today's lay offs. Thank you everyone I've had the privilege of working with <3 You are incredibly talented & the best of peoples. Thank you Destiny community for your love & support <3

Basically the whole D2 Sandbox team is gone, myself included. The good news is if you liked the way Destiny felt to shoot and play, there’s going to be a lot of great designers in the market looking to help other games step it up.

I got laid off from Bungie today. It was a dream job for the last ~4 years. Gonna miss everyone I worked with from D2 to Marathon. Love y'all ❤️

Today is my last day with SIE/Bungie as I was impacted by the layoffs today. This was a dream job in so many ways given how much of an impact Destiny 2 has had on my life. Very grateful for these past 4 years. 💛
