Does it mean that Chief Victor Umeh @SenVictorUmeh cannot convince his constituents to vote for him without following Peter Obi up and down??..
So it has to take another "Peter Obi's Wave" to get nwoke okpu ogonogo and former Apga Chieftain back into the senate?
Chief Victor Umeh is not pointing to his achievements or to the projects he has successfully executed for the last three years. He is not telling us, his constituents his plans for the next four years or why we should reelect him, all he does is to show up where Peter Obi is, person we sent to Abuja to speak for us.
Same goes to Hon. Harris Annie-Okonkwo @hon_okonkwo. Peter Obi is about to become their pathway to another reelection, not their achievements, not the projects they have done, no manifestos, no campaigns, just following Peter Obi sheepishly.
Some will say it's loyalty but it's not, An elected official should be loyal and answerable to his or her constituents that elected them in the first place. We elected them, not Peter Obi.
You rode on Peter Obi's fame to get into an office and for almost four years, you have nothing to present to validate your mandate, you are back after four years to ride on that person's fame once again?
Politicians really think that we the electorates are dummies, and most times they are right.
Let nobody come to Idemili with "top to bottom" voting pattern, or "Vote him, Peter Obi will need him if he wins" pelemense talk, because otolo ga agbagbu the person.
Ndi osee Goof.

I have done best in the obidient movement on the plateau since 2023 general elections. In the ADC I also mobilized Obidients into the ADC, actively took party in the formation of the party structure and emerged as the state woman leader.
Right now, I must take a decision for me. I wish Nigeria the best of luck.
I feel bad that Tinubu is coming back without much struggle

@hon_okonkwo You have done wonderfully well and deserve one more term

I joined my leader, His Excellency Peter Obi, H.E. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, alongside my colleagues in the National Assembly, to officially join the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC).
This marks a significant and defining moment in our political journey—one driven by a clear vision and a firm commitment to building a new Nigeria that works for all. Our leader has given a clear marching order, anchored on integrity, competence, and people-centered governance, and we are ready to move forward with purpose and unity.
I therefore call on all well-meaning Nigerians, across party lines—starting from Idemili North and South Federal Constituency—to come together, align with, and support the NDC movement as we collectively chart a new course for our nation.
A New Nigeria is POSSIBLE, and it is within reach.

RESIGNATION FROM ADC I am grateful for the opportunity to have served on various committees at both the Ward and National levels. I sincerely appreciate the relationships built and the experiences gained during my time in the party. I have officially informed and sent a copy of my resignation to my very respected ADC ward chairman, and LGA chairman. Amb. Umanu Elijah “EtsakoMustShine”

@FredOnyebuchi Hope the ADC issue gets sorted quickly looking forward to seeing Kenneth Okonkwo’s interview tomorrow.

Umu Idemili, ochili MMA ga achi ozo,, uche Okonkwo @hon_okonkwo is the man, Nkpor, umuoji, ojoto, and other towns

Today, I took a difficult but necessary step — a step guided by conviction, reflection, and an unwavering commitment to the people I represent.
I have formally resigned my membership of the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
This decision was not made lightly. It comes at a time when the party is facing deep internal challenges, including a protracted leadership crisis that has now drawn the intervention of the Supreme Court. The apex court has ordered that the dispute be returned to the Federal High Court for full determination, underscoring that the issues within the party remain unresolved and far from settled.
At such a defining moment, leadership must be anchored on clarity, stability, and a unified direction — values that are essential not just for political parties, but for the credibility of our democratic process.
While I remain grateful for the opportunities, relationships, and experiences within the ADC, I believe that the path forward must be one that allows me to serve my constituents with focus, strength, and without distraction.
My allegiance has always been, and will always remain, to the good people of Idemili North and South Federal Constituency.
Politics, for me, is not about platforms alone — it is about purpose. It is about impact. It is about delivering real results and building a future our people can believe in.
In this next phase of my journey, I move forward with renewed courage and clarity, aligned with the vision of purposeful leadership and national rebirth alongside my mentor and leader, Mr. Peter Obi — a man whose commitment to a better Nigeria continues to inspire millions.
This is not a departure from service.
It is a repositioning for greater service.
Idemili comes first.
Always.
The journey continues.
