NEW: Take-Two Interactive has laid off their Head of Artificial Intelligence, as well as an undisclosed number of employees who were working on leveraging AI at the company. This is VERY interesting. Strauss Zelnick has previously spoken out against the idea of generative AI replacing human artistry, especially when it comes to Rockstar and GTA 6. But, it’s still surprising to me that they’d drastically cut down the team responsible for harnessing the “good” applications of AI. It’s currently unclear what the actual motives behind these lay-offs are, but regardless it appears to be quite a significant indication of where Take-Two’s priorities are, at least in my opinion. everyone will have their own criteria for what generational means. it's not anything close to an exact science. to me, it's a very restrictive group that leaves out a lot of legends, and it's not close to an insult not to be on that list yet at age 19

@stelzner_n1150 Median income is estimated to be 54k per year. So right off the bat, less than half the country can participate. In fact if you go for this 69k number, it means the 61% can't participate. I don't know where he's getting this 69k number like everyone has it to begin with.

@AaronQuinn716 I think the biggest hurdle fans will have to deal with is the mass amount of subscription services you need to watch games. NFL games are already extremely expensive to go to in person…but people will pay.

There is an unfair layer of data in this stuff where the NFL thinks they can just expand and grow and add more, and it will work because we are addicted to this thing and consume all of it as much as we can. But I don't think MOST fans want more of it. And we don't want it all over the world. And we don't want it on Thursday nights. My 2 cents.

@WUTangKids Professional sports is the most socialist system ever. Pooled team budgets for the league, the draft order system, the team's schedule based on previous season's placings. The team that wins more and has more fans are punished harder than bad teams with fewer fans.

@ClaireMax Neat little thing I like about it is that the characters all change into different outfits throughout the episodes, but they all have the same vibe as the same single outfit of the anime.

Live action One Piece is DELIGHTFUL idgaf. I love that they kept the tropes/story pacing/style of the anime, the fight scenes are incredible, casting is perfect. I can see why some people don’t like it because it is campy/corny/over the top, but I love that about it

@Knightly_Hist This was likely the Ferrari of armor though. Like traditional plate armor was already insanely expensive only nobility could afford it for their knights. This here had to be some king's guard shit.

Apparently this is how many of you learn that a full cuirass' mid-section is protected with articulated lames which allows you to flex your spine. This feature grants a lot of mobility.

@stjepansejic I showed my artist friend how you normally do it and it confused the shit out of him. He couldn't really comprehend how you chose to do anything and he said he could never draw that way. Completely different way of thinking. I don't know shit about art, but it looks cool.
