Reviewing an ECR's paper, we must avoid being a paradigm's gatekeeper. We must take the author's perspective as far as we can, even if against the momentum of our field. We should be (first) collaborators in science, and (second) firm but compassionate judges.

Representation matters! We are aware of the pervasive knowledge gaps in science. That's why we have unified the efforts of students and researchers in Evolutionary Biology to create a course that will help boost students from the Global South who dream of a career in #EvoBio 🧬💚
