Why I read military history No, I don't read military history like a larping MBA student mining it for business strategy tips. I read it for the human side. Military history is interesting because it captures an extreme of the human experience. War. What was it like? What would I have done? How did people bear it? My grandfather was in special ops in his early twenties, in the second world war. The stories he told, behind enemy lines, escaping prison camps, were fascinating to me. I've never experienced anything close to that. It's hard to imagine. But I've found that if you meditate on the subject and really try to imagine what it was like, something happens. No, sorry, your own problems don't disappear. Nor do you start to appreciate things more or whatever. Your startup still matters. Your niggling pain is still painful. That difficult conversation you're avoiding is still difficult. But they stop feeling like the entire map. I think that's because most of us dramatically underestimate the width of reality. Our sense of what's possible is built almost entirely from our own lives. If you've grown up in a peaceful, prosperous country, your lived experience tells you that's what reality looks like. History says otherwise. The range of human experience is far wider than we let ourselves feel. Things can get really really really bad. Crazy terrible shit happens. Amazing stuff can happen too. Reading history doesn't make me more grateful. It recalibrates my sense of what's possible and how extreme things can get. Good and bad. It reminds me the world is both darker and stranger than the small corner of it I've lived in. And that incredible things nobody could have predicted can and will happen. Like there's a whole colour spectrum of life and I've only seen a sliver. Today's problems are still problems. But they're not the whole map.

There's been a lot of misunderstanding about B20 so far. The biggest narrative of B20 isn't the launch of a new coin, but rather the building of the infrastructure foundation for an onchain economy. $BASE Let's dissect it together!

The next phase of crypto adoption may be shaped by communities rather than technology alone People stay because they feel connected to the culture the builders and the ecosystem around them Networks that create a sense of belonging often retain users far longer than those focused only on products @base is steadily building that foundation where onchain activity and community culture grow together creating an ecosystem designed for long term participation $BASE gbase

Been waiting for something like this on the @BaseApp You can finally use your EOA wallet and Smart Wallet together without the usual headache. Just import the EOA one first, then add your smart wallet after Make sure you back everything up before signing out though, order actually matters here Small change but it makes things way cleaner if you’re juggling both types of wallets

Building safer automation loops on @base with the native features of the #B20 toolkit Managing token safety usually requires massive auditing and complex custom code. This new framework builds security rules directly into the network so you can pause or restrict specific movements instantly. The upgrade allows developers to stop minting or burning actions during high market volatility without interrupting standard user transfers. This native protection keeps your independent systems safe from bad actors and unexpected exploits. Are you using the native protection features to secure your automated pipelines today? #Base #AI

Understanding the two main variants of the new $B20 standard to scale your project on @base The network provides two specific options for different types of builds. The asset layout is designed for tokenizing real world items and project rewards with highly flexible distribution rules. The stablecoin layout fixes the parameters to handle digital cash and fiat tracking with absolute precision. This clear separation helps automated agents manage diverse token balances without needing custom tracking systems. Will you deploy the flexible asset framework or the stablecoin variant for your build? #Base #AI

Tokenized $stocks are back, but the old playbook is dead. In previous cycles, "onchain stocks" were just synthetic derivatives - unregulated single-chain tokens tracking price action with zero legal protection or physical backing. They didn't last, and they shouldn't have. This time is fundamentally different. Teams like @OndoFinance , @xStocksFi , @Backpack , and @RobinhoodApp have built a mature foundation: 1:1 collateral backing, verifiable proof of reserves, and strict regulatory compliance. The infrastructure is ready. The new bottleneck isn't compliance or tech - it's distribution. To trigger the next leg of the RWA supercycle, these assets need to be instantly accessible across every wallet, DeFi app, and trading venue. That’s exactly where @lifiprotocol comes in. The Universal Distribution Layer LI.FI acts as the underlying liquidity and routing architecture that scales tokenized stocks across the entire multi-chain ecosystem. Here is how it solves the distribution problem: - Turnkey Integration for Apps & Wallets: Instead of front-end platforms spending months building fragmented, one-off integrations for every single stock issuer, they get access to all of them through LI.FI’s existing network. - Aggregated Multi-Chain Liquidity: LI.FI routes orders across 40+ DEXs, bridges, and intent-based protocols. It scans issuers and venues in real time to guarantee users the best price execution, bypassing fragmented liquidity pools. - Day-1 Access to Major Issuers: LI.FI natively supports current market leaders and is architected to seamlessly absorb upcoming tokenized stock pipelines from giants like @coinbase and @binance the moment they go live. Building the RWA Infrastructure The expansion of real-world assets won't happen in isolation. Success depends on making these assets available exactly where users already trade. If you are an asset issuer, consumer application, wallet, or trading platform looking to scale cross-chain asset distribution, let’s connect. #LIFI #Jumper

Early @base users, check your wallet 👀 I just rediscovered this NFT from Base early days. I minted mine 1,062 days ago around August 13, 2023. 🔵 I'm officially base OG now 🌝 You may have one too: → Open basescan.org → Enter your wallet address → Go to Assets → NFTs → Search this contract: 0x7d5861cfe1C74Aaa0999b7E2651Bf2ebD2A62D89 There’s no confirmed future utility or $BASE airdrop benefit, but it’s still a cool piece of early Base history. Do you have yours? Share a screenshot below.

Many people think registering an ERC-8004 identity means their $agent is done. It's the opposite - registration is where the real work starts: - Minting an identity just puts you in the registry, nothing more - SIWA proves your agent is actually running, not just minted - EAS builds the reputation trail that makes other agents (or humans) trust it - Most profiles on 8004scan right now are registered and completely silent An identity with no proof of life is a dead profile with a nice-looking mint transaction. How do you personally judge if an agent is worth trusting - uptime, reputation score, or something else entirely? @buildonbase @base @baseposting #AI

A lot of farmers still think running 10+ wallets is the smart move for $airdrops Detection systems don't need to catch every wallet individually - they catch the pattern connecting them: - Funding source tracing links wallets back to the same origin, no matter how many hops you add - Identical action sequences across wallets are one of the strongest sybil signals there is - Ten wallets that get filtered together equals zero allocation, not ten small ones - One wallet with six months of varied, genuine activity has nothing to cluster it against Quantity of wallets isn't the strategy. Depth of one real wallet is. Are you farming with a single wallet, or still spreading activity across several?

SpaceXAI and Cursor just quietly dropped #Grok 4.5 at $2/M input tokens while the market was focused on the $OpenAI hype cycle. It’s trained on raw, real-world Cursor developer sessions rather than synthetic data loops, featuring a 500k context window. The pricing contrast per 1M tokens highlights a massive gap: - Grok 4.5: $2 input / $6 output - Opus 4.8: $5 / $25 - GPT-5.5 Sol: $5 / $30 - Fable 5: $10 / $50 The real edge isn't just the sticker price; it's token efficiency. Grok consumes 4.2x fewer tokens than Opus for identical workloads. An average task costs $2.49 on Grok vs $5.07 on GPT-5.5 and $11.80 on Fable. For autonomous agentic stacks running thousands of sequential loops, this completely flips the unit economics. The performance trade-offs: - Terminal Bench: 83.3% (GPT-5.5: 83.4%) - Functional parity. - SWE Bench Pro: 64.7% (Opus: 69.2%) - Lagging behind on deep refactors. - DeepSWE: 53% (GPT-5.5: 67%) - A significant gap remains. The catch? Cursor admitted a snapshot of their own codebase accidentally leaked into the training dataset, which artificially inflated its CursorBench performance (patched for future versions). It is also noticeably more prone to hallucinations than its direct competitors. The takeaway: True frontier intelligence still belongs to the big labs, but if you are building autonomous agents where heavy token burn is the main scaling bottleneck, a 4x cost reduction changes the math entirely.

DeepSeek sells 3x more tokens, but $Anthropic captures over 50% of the revenue. Data from the Vercel #AI Gateway reveals how the open-source vs. closed-source battle is actually playing out. DeepSeek V4 Flash dominates raw volume, pushing 5.3 trillion tokens per week. Opus 4.8 lags 2.5x behind in volume, yet Anthropic takes the lion's share of the cash. The math explains why: Opus costs $1.37 per million tokens, while DeepSeek sits at $0.06 - a massive 23x price gap. Enterprises willingly pay the premium because frontier models solve complex, high-value tasks that open source simply can't handle yet. As Decagon CEO Jesse Zhang frames it: - Frontier labs own discovery: Unlocking new use cases and solving complex logic. - Open source owns production: Handling mature workflows and scaling efficiently. The market is expanding fast enough for both to thrive. Frontier labs are creating new niches faster than open source can commoditize the old ones. Anthropic’s 2026 performance metrics highlight this momentum: - $47B ARR: Up from $9B at the end of 2025 (a 5x jump in six months). - 40% enterprise API market share: Outpacing OpenAI (27%) and Google (21%). - First profitable quarter in company history. Open source wins on pure cost and scale. Anthropic wins on raw intelligence.
