The only time I have 'met' Rahul Gandhi was when we were accidentally placed in close proximity at a small social gathering. He didn't know who I was, and I pretended not to know who he was. This was at the peak of his popularity, within a year of the 2009 win. I took the opportunity to criticise the government loudly to others in the room. He quietly, and stoically, bore my ineffectual stings.

We can do two things to start with: Personally not create income or wealth through corrupt or illegal means Stop glorifying people who became rich through corrupt or illegal means I've pointed out many times, as a society, we adore rich people even if they acquired wealth through corrupt means. Being rich in itself is not an appreciable trait. As Warren Buffett said that he celebrates wealth only if it is fairly won and wisely used. This is something all of us should follow.

2005-2010 के बीच कांग्रेस की Indian National Congress सरकार ने लगभग ₹1.48 लाख करोड़ के Oil Bonds जारी किए थे ताकि पेट्रोल-डीज़ल के दाम कृत्रिम रूप से कम रखे जा सकें। लेकिन असली सवाल यह है कि 2014 के बाद Bharatiya Janata Party सरकार ने जनता से टैक्स के जरिए कितना वसूला और Oil Bonds के नाम पर कितना राजनीतिक नैरेटिव बनाया। सरकारी जवाब के अनुसार मार्च 2026 तक कुल Oil Bonds पर ब्याज ₹1,70,698 करोड़ तक पहुंच गया। 2014-2026 के बीच मोदी सरकार ने ₹1,01,945 करोड़ सिर्फ ब्याज में चुकाए और कुल भुगतान (Principal + Interest) ₹2,36,368 करोड़ रहा। अब दूसरी तरफ़ का हिसाब देखिए... 2014 में केंद्र का पेट्रोल-डीज़ल पर Excise Collection लगभग ₹1 लाख करोड़ था। 2020-21 में यही टैक्स वसूली ₹4.5 लाख करोड़ के आसपास पहुंच गई। सिर्फ 2014-2024 के बीच केंद्र सरकार ने पेट्रोल-डीज़ल से ₹30 लाख करोड़ से ज्यादा टैक्स वसूला। यानी Oil Bonds चुकाने के नाम पर जनता से कई गुना ज्यादा कमाई हुई। तथ्य यह भी है कि... UPA ने Oil Bonds इसलिए जारी किए क्योंकि उस समय कच्चा तेल $140 प्रति बैरल तक गया था और सरकार उपभोक्ताओं को राहत देना चाहती थी। लेकिन जब 2020 में अंतरराष्ट्रीय Crude Oil ऐतिहासिक रूप से सस्ता हुआ, तब भी भाजपा सरकार ने पेट्रोल-डीज़ल सस्ता नहीं किया बल्कि Excise Duty बढ़ाकर रिकॉर्ड कमाई की। यानी सच यह है कि कांग्रेस ने खर्च को भविष्य पर टाला। भाजपा ने उसी मुद्दे को राजनीतिक हथियार बनाकर टैक्स से कई गुना ज्यादा वसूली कर ली। ₹1.48 लाख करोड़ के Oil Bonds का रोना रोने वालों ने पेट्रोल-डीज़ल पर टैक्स से जनता की जेब से ₹30 लाख करोड़ से ज्यादा निकाल लिए। Oil Bonds बहाना थे, असली कमाई महंगाई और टैक्स से हुई...!! @RahulGandhi @Dr_MonikaSingh_ @garrywalia_ @sakshijoshii @Rashmi22302711 @AnumaVidisha @RuchiraC @maulinshah9 @Iam_MKharaud @Kumarjyoti49291 @GoIShadow @sudhirchaudhary @AMISHDEVGAN @anjanaomkashya @RubikaLiyaquat @chitraaum @RajatSharmaLive @AwasthiGyyan @PMNehru @RaGa4India @Raga3689 @Pawankhera @SupriyaShrinate

Vivek, crude $108 both times but rupee 60→95 = 60% costlier imports. UPA hid costs via massive subsidies & oil bonds. Modi deregulated: no subsidies now, transparent pricing + taxes for infra. Diesel 55→91 is economics, not “Modi tax”. Tracked markets since 1999 & forgot forex + subsidy reality? Weak analysis, bro. 😂
