After months of delays I finally received a response from the IRS regarding my FOIA request for documents and emails pertaining to IRS Chief Jim Lee's participation in an OCIF press conference in Puerto Rico to announce the closure of my bank. The 335 pages that the IRS claimed were responsive to my request were all delivered blank. The IRS claimed all the information was withheld pursuant to an exemption. I believe those documents reveal the real reason my bank was closed and why I was not allowed to sell it to Qenta or any other buyer. Are there any FOIA attorneys who would like to handle filing the appeal for me?
