@FrankPasquale Bitcoin (and other cryptocurrencies) would be virtually useless if the current monetary systems were fair, responsible, and efficient.
English

@FrankPasquale I thought this was more interesting "What we need from a good monetary system are safety, stability, accountability, efficiency, inclusion, privacy, integrity, adaptability and openness. Today’s system falls short ... "

@ProfSteveKeen We don't have to agree on everything just the important things like an ICAC, housing, the enviro, and foreign affairs are enough. Unfortunately your responses are literally childish, like the majors. Doesnt give me much confidence in an 'alternate" voice.

@pourteaux In fact, BTC and ETH should not be compared. They both make use of distributed systems and have 'blockchains' , but that is where the similarities end.
They are fundamentally different in purpose and design🍏🍊🍏🍊🍏🍊🍏🍊🍏
English

@pourteaux God, you make sense some times! I discussed this last night. If the economic activity on ETH continues to grow, I have no doubt it will flip the MC of BTC in time, but that does not take away from how secure BTC is and how good it is as hard money.
English

BTC probably will get flipped, and it won't matter. The point of BTC isn't to be #1 on CMC.

19/ Once BTC is flipped, it’s pretty much game over for BTC A large part of the value prop of BTC is that it’s the largest and most liquid Once those stop being true, it has even less to offer

For those listening to #NetThing2021, my question to Dr Tobias Feakin, which just happened to disappear, was "everyone likes to hear your kind words about democracy, freedom, and the rejection of an authoritarian vision for the future of the Internet. Yet recent Australian ...

@Abuez0 I'm not arguing that.
My comment was more directed towards your assumption of CA's age and ability to use tech. He knows more about bitcoin and lightning UX than most. If he is finding it difficult, the new UX processes used in Muun *might* need to be reconsiderd.
English

The Lightning Wallet @muun has failed my #SmartCustody test, and I am unable to recover test funds. Many fragile points: confusing & non-standard recovery process, no mnemonics, logs you out of old device before new device success, too many fragile parts, and more.👎 …
English

@ChristopherA @muun Or maybe you are soo old for the tech and this is meant for the new generation?
U can recover using their tool on github
Also why tf would i use iCloud to store my backup? What if I wanted to restore it on my Android then? Storing wallet backup on iCloud or Drive is stupid.

@ChrisBlec @avalancheavax @zengupuc "The security of the Avalanche *bridge* relies on SGX" is more accurate @ChrisBlec
English

The security of @avalancheavax relies on SGX. Be careful. It is a huge honeypot.
